Operation Graphite will be a weekly collection of drawings, paintings, or works of art following a given theme for the week.
The genesis of the idea came from the realization that too many of my friends and myself have nearly abandoned recreational drawing. For many of us, drawing was once a common pastime. Some of us were even Art Majors in College. But as time went on, and finding time to draw in our busy lives became more and more dificult, we stopped drawing for fun, or even all together.
In the following weeks, I hope to have a series of themes which several of my friends can contribute a work of visual art. In time we can become an online community, but for now, all it needs to be is reason to find event just 15 minutes to find time to make a drawing, painting or work of art.
Operation Graphite
