October is almost here, and in the spirit of Halloween, we begin another month of ghouls, ghosts and goblins. This week will be Demonic, and can be a strait up hell beast, or a demonic version of something else.

Week two-thirty-five of Operation Graphite – theme: Dictator.
This was actually a tougher one than I imagined, as I really wanted to stay away from any specific race, nationality, or political agenda. I just wanted a scary guy in a uniform, not to put anyone down or pick fun of a nationality. But I will admit, there is a little M. Bison in there. All apologies to the people of Mriganka.

The theme selected for week two-thirty-six of Operation Graphite will be: Sidekick.
There are great heroes, and there are heroes who are maybe less great. Maybe they are heroes in training, perhaps they are apprentice heroes, waiting to be journeyman heroes. Someday they might become great heroes themselves, in time bringing another under their tutelage, just as they were once under someone else’s. The side kick has always been treated like a joke, but not everyone can rise to greatness on their own. Some of us need mentors, teachers and someone to show them the ropes.

Week two-thirty-four of Operation Graphite – theme: Deer.
Maybe an Elk is a bit of a stretch, but I would have lumped in caribou, reindeer, stag, elk and moose together with deer. They are all in the same animal family.
And yes, in the photo, it totally looked like it was smiling.

So, as I was trying to think up a last minute theme, which I completely forgot I had to do tonight, and my woefully underpowered computer was freezing up. Spotify was apparently the culprit, and the screen was locked on the discography of Weird Al. Yes, I have the music taste of a twelve year old a times. As I pondered how I couldn’t afford a new computer, what my next theme would be, and what time my children will wake me up, I noticed the album cover for Mandatory Fun, with Mr, Yankovic festooned with the archetypal fruit salad of medals and military dress of modern dictators. “Hey that would make a fun theme,” I thought to myself. Because dictators are just loads of fun.
