Week thirty six of Operation Graphite – Theme: Classic Villain Reimagined.

The classics seem to be reimagined, in one way or another, time and time again. Whether set in a different world or time period, it is always the characters who are the anchor to the source material. Change an outfit or the technology used, and the core of that hero or villain will aways come through.

Contributing Villains

bruku – The Devil

kalebschad – Mummy Bear

Shock – Punk Hook

Thank you for contributing.

The theme selected for week thirty six of Operation Graphite will be: Classic Villain Reimagined.

Classic Villains – either updated, given a new twist, or imagined in a different universe; it’s a popular exercise for character designers. It is fun to imagine Dr. Doom in the old west, or have Darth Vader be all Steampunked out. This week we will take any Classic Villain from fiction, update, reimagine, or take them to a place they have never been before. It can be as simple as the Wicked Witch of the West as a pin up girl, or as crazy as futuristic, cyborg Cthulhu.

Please submit a drawing or painting, using traditional or digital media, of your Classic Villain.

All art work is due on Thursday 10.11.12. Submissions will be published the following Friday 10.12.12.
