With the Forth of July fast approaching, it seemed like a good time to tackle some of theĀ American myths and folktales. Now, this doesn’t just have to be Johnny Apple seed or Paul Bunyan, it can also be the Jersey Devil or the Headless Horseman. American Folklore is full of possibilities, whether it be exaggerated historical figures, fictional heroes of tall tales, stories of local monsters or literature characters who become ingrained into national identity.

Please submit any drawing or painting, using traditional or digital media, that fits the theme: American Folklore.

All art work is due on Thursday 7.4.13 Submissions will be published the following Friday 7.5.13.
