The theme selected for week one-fourty-five of Operation Graphite will be: Heavy Metal.

A comic anthology with so many bare breasts, it had to be created by the French; Métal Hurlant (Screaming Metal) was introduced in the United States in 1977 under the name, Heavy Metal. Artists such a Moebius, Philippe Druillet, and H.R. Giger, along with Writers such as Harlan Ellison and Alejandro Jodorowsky have contributed to the magazine. While many might recognize the magazine for its cheesy, and often sexist illustrations, after you scratch the surface, Heavy Metal has showcased some amazing illustrators, and the strangest, and darkest Sci-Fi and fantasy stories out there.

Please submit any drawing or painting, using traditional or digital media, that fits the theme: Heavy Metal.

All art work is due on Thursday, 12.11.14 Submissions will be published the following Friday, 12.12.14.
